Monday, May 28, 2007 i am cold and covered in rain. its called wet. its also called involuntary wet time. we're at a pub in derby, pronounced darby. we played london for the first time last nite at the academy. i met some nice people from london, some nice girls from japan, and some nice 'folks' from pittsburgh. i thought last nites set was our best yet. army of freshmen are off the tour as of today and we've moved on to the wheatus bus. i would have never thought years ago we'd be sharing a bus with wheatus but they are so welcoming its wonderful. it does indeed rain a lot here. nick believes this is the reason for excessive drinking and the want to fight. i guess he could be right. i've been taking pictures which i'll post. the internet barely exists in derby. we're playing the next few shows with a band called 3 stories down. they are awesome for letting us use their equipment.
my favorite shows over here have bee newport, southampton, new castle, birmingham, and london. sharing a bus with army of freshmen was super comfortable, i'll miss our bus driver bob. he's one nice scot!
i haven't had a phone over here. i gave my tour pass away. i've never been so disconnected. a map would be nice.

Wednesday, April 11, 2007 we hung out last nite in springfield, IL. got to see our dudes in the Junior Varsity. i never knew this, but they told me that there is a Shelbyville close to Springfield as on the Simpsons. I hate Shelbyville. I haven't watched the simpsons in probably 8 years. i wake up on this tour like its a 9-5 job. i've been making beats with kanye's drum samples he sent me. we're working on the 'name' song everyday. its going to be a 10 minute masterpiece when finished. also been trying to answer myspace messages - there is so much spam to sort though it is frustrating. we posted a video of us playing "They Are Strong Hands" last nite on Heavy.com... check it out :watch this video man. i am very thirsty. i want me some cran. i never drank cranberry juice until 2007 but dammmnnnn. heading to papillion now. its in nebraska. outside of omaha. somewhere in middle america. i believe in a thing called love. x

Wednesday, March 14, 2007 i got stuck in traffic last nite in pittsburgh. after 45 minutes of sitting there i learned from the friendly car to car tshirt salesmen that the cause of this dead stop was none other than americas definition of horridness nickelback. you guys suck, i want my nickel back. i heard that all 3 of their hit songs are in the same key and same tempo.

Wednesday, February 07, 2007 ma hands are cold. it smells like bananas. we are in the studio demoing some news songs. maybe we'll let you hear one if you're good. these are the best songs we've ever written and its only the first batch. i built a desk. i finally saw little miss sunshine. i'm producing Barely Blinds ep this month. they are texans. i relearned the state capitals. if you see me quiz me or ask me online, i'm trying to keep sharp. we are going to new york this weekend. crashing in philly on the way. i will eat a cheese steak there and an apple in new york. check out my collaboration with PFUNKT on the dance remix of no doubts spiderwebs. myspace.com/PFUNKT. thats about all i got. seriously thats all i got.

Tuesday, January 09, 2007 whats up fools. the holidays are over... PL is rocking in the new year with writing some new tunes. we locked down 3 new tunes in 2 practices. very exciting. i also went to texas this past weekend to work with Barely Blind. i will be producing some songs for them in the studio next month. I'm also doing some tracks with Plague the City in 2 weeks. we are pretty serious about writing songs right now but have one show scheduled so far for 2007 and that is Baysides record release show.
